RELEASE 2.4.2 (07-08-2014)

NEW FEATURES
  1. Replace the old qkb file (keboard file) with the new qkb2 file. The new file is not compatible with older QProg versions. The old qkb files can load also with the actual QProg version.
  2. Add a new bitmap function, now by add a bitmap on the key it can use the bitmap preview dialog for change and add a picture on a key. The dialog can help by change and replace colors.
  3. Using new Text:
SOLVED PROBLEMS
  1. The copy function doesnīt work correct - fixed.
  2. Key group settings was not set on all involved keys - fixed
  3. Fixed some keyboard function handling with the new QTouch8 keyboards - load/save keyboardfile
  4. The fonttype and size wasnīt show and print in a correct was - fixed now should it possible to print the keyboards in usual way.
  5. By cancel bitmap loading on keyboard the usual way was that is draw a complete white bitmap. - Now by cancel the loading, the setting of the keys will be keep.
  6. The color selection dialog never save the user define colors by reopen. Now these colors will save for the configuration and reload it.

  1. Add new QTouch8 cash register type
  2. New keyboard types for the QTouch8
  3. By reading the configuration from the cash register on an existing one, it will check if store management is active and ask for update or overwrite the configuration
  4. New Key function for Touch machines, now it is possible to group key - two in a row or two in a column or a 2x2 block

  2. For check the different keyboard types use a new command, this will check before sending a configuration if the right keyboard type is selected.

SOLVED PROBLEMS
  1. By import of a Excel CSV generated File (e.g. PLU list), the price values was not import correct because Excel delete zero decimal numbers. That is solved by import such files, QProg will identify numbers without decimal numbers and add automatically by setting in QProg. NOTE: The setting decimal sign and number of decimal places can be different by using Excel and QProg, the reason for this is that Excel use the global Windows setting and QProg the own setting (Option#2 and Parameter#59).
  2. Update some Information in the help file: Parameter 58 and 130 and for Report menu
  3. The backup printer for receipt, slip and journal was never use, so the translate text was change for these parameter in "not in use".
  4. The parameter and options was send always by send only changes, even in case of no changing. Now it will send only if the parameter and option was changed.

  3. Insert for CSV export in the first line the "sep=" information, because by open the CSV file in excel it will indicate the separators automatically.

  5. It is possible to use a indivdual WAN Port, in case that it is not possible to use the standard port on the router, or there a more than one cash register networks behind the router in the LAN. In that case in the router can be define different port forwarding configuration for the different cash register networks.

  1. By the first opening of the logo configuration dialog a stringgrid was showing which is not belonged there - is solved should not show at this case

  1. Using new Text:
SOLVED PROBLEMS
  1. In the print repeat label dialog it is possible to scale the labels but only from 25% to 100%, but in the textbox you could enter number which was outside of this border. Now if the input value is not in the border of the valid area, the value will reset to the last valid value
  2. By changing the store management using with QProg, the status need an installation of the configuration in the cash register. The changing status of the store management checkbox in the programming will save for checking if an installation is necessary.
  3. Keyboard Type 79 Keys QTouch12 showing the bitmaps on the numeric keys with a wrong height, this was fixed. This error has occured for the first time in version 2.2.8.

  1. The consilidation checkbox in the "GetReport" dialog will keep the state for the next opening of the dialog and by restart of QProg

SOLVED PROBLEMS
  1. The Text edit for programmable text crash by cancel the change info dialog for loosing changes by break the edit window. That fixed by handling the changing list in a new way, the old way delete some memory handlings.
  2. If the network size (paremeter 55) is set to 0 and the communication is set as a network communication, then the update of the store management donīt work. Thats fixed by check the networksize, if the size is 0 the consolidation of the report will be disable and the report will be get from the first cash register which is reachable on the IP adress or serial port.

RELEASE 2.3.3 (09-08-2013)

NEW FEATURES
  1. By overwrite a exist QCC-file if a configuration is reading from a cash register, the overwitten archive will save as a backup file. The archiv will get the extention .backup, you can use this backup by rename the extention to .qcc in normal way. Or by open a archive file and it exist a backup file for this archiv, you can use the "Restore Backup" function in the "Program" menu. Note: In this case the existing archiv will be overwitten.
  2. The store management function in QProg will merge the PLU files of the loaded Program and in the cash register, by using of scan codes and new PLUīs was created on the cash register. The new PLUīs will insert in the existing loaded configuration and then update the iventory quantity.
  3. If QProg will closed unexpected, then you can restore the loaded archive by new opening and confirm in the next dialog "Restore"
  4. Using new Text:

  1. Automatic path detection by saving rom and keyboard layout revised. Now will choose the path of the loaded QCC-file as standard path by saving.
  2. Minimum size of the connection dialog was changed.

SOLVED PROBLEMS
  1. By creating a support mail and reading the data from a password protected cash register, QProg failed and couldnīt abborted the process. Fixed by change the order of the protection functions, now it will ask for password at the beginning of all communication.

NEW FEATURES
  1. Big change by handling the configuration, now QProg save the cash register configuration in one archive file (.QCC-extension), old configurations will convert automatically.
  2. Open archive files will sign as locked, so it should save by manipulate from another QProg sessions.
  3. Drag/Drop for QUORiON Configuration Files in QProg
  4. QProg set the file association by the first start in the Windows system for the actual user, so it is possible to open the configuration files by double click.
  5. Support Mail: Now you can create a support Mail in QProg by click in the menu "Help->Send Mail". It will try open your default Email client and insert an automatically text with important information, so you have only describe your problem and some common information.
  6. Insert a "Whats New" window, which show the updates from a HTML file. This window will show by start of QProg, this behavior can disable by click the checkbox "Donīt show on start up".
  7. Import/Export as CSV-file for the translation table insert
  8. Cash register information reactivated, the problem with the deleted serial number by some cash register was solved by filtering of the firmware version. So the serial number will not read by cash register which have installed a older firmwae as xx100820.
  9. Entry limitation by programming the caption name in the file setting. The maximal number of caption character is define in the config setting of the filetype.
  10. The device manager will check if network settings are configure and give an warning message. If nothing change in the device manager so the network setting will not lost by confirm the dialog with "OK". Note: The device manager is only for configuration local single machine settings, complex network setting canīt handle by this (That also include QOrder settings.)
